After a skiing accident the first week of quarantine, Elizabeth felt a personal connection to the nurses who were now battling COVID-19 on the front lines. After dusting off an old sewing machine, she began selling stylish, reusable, masks out of designer fabric scraps with 100% of proceeds benefiting her local hospital. In a few short months, Elizabeth had raised thousands, and the stylish masks were heavily requested as she began making custom masks for several stores, as well as sweatsets.
When launching Elizabeth Tailor, the inclusion of philanthropy was a necessity. Each month, a charity in need will be chosen and 15% of all sales will be donated.
